Yutaka Kambe was born in the city of Kobe on March 7th, 1982.
He's practiced Judo and Wu Shu from a very early age as he's always envisioned working as an action actor.
Keen to diversify his skill set to help him achieve his goal,
he moved on to learn Taekwondo and quickly became hooked on its unique style of kicking.
He trained rigorously and quickly achieved his World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) 1st dan at the ripe age of 19.
His will to learn also lead him on a path to capoeira when he saw it featured as an article in a popular Karate magazine.
When his search for others practicing the art in his local city fell unanswered, he made a plan to move to Brazil.
After working hard and saving up enough money (all the while going to high school),upon graduation he went to Brazil for 3 months.
There he joined the Associação de Capoeira Mestre Bimba, the home dojo of capoeira in Salvador,
in order to study from the best in traditional Capoeira.
Shortly after returning to Japan, he worked with Universal Studios Japan as an entertainer for 2 years.
During his time there, he kept practicing Tae Kwon Do and Capoeira
and also started to train a new style of martial arts performance that's dubbed Xtreme Martial Arts.
After leaving Universal Studios, he spent a year in Australia to become more fluent in English.
There, he was invited as an instructor into the Golden Kicks Taekwondo Academy (Melbourne) under master Mustafa Bozkurt.
Upon returning to Japan once again, he made a move to Tokyo in order to focus on projects ranging bigger projects in film, tv and theater.
He's since made his feature film debut and is an often requested stuntman in various types of content projects.
