Kambe

Kambe Yutaka was born on 7th March 1982 in the city of Kobe which also shares the same chinese character with his family name.

From an early age knew he knew stunt action was his calling and took his first steps towards his goal when he joined his Judo club in Junior High School. During High School, he briefly experimented with Wu Shu, which at that time he felt did not suit the fighting style that he was interested in pursuing.

Keen to diversify his skill set, he studied WTF (World Taekwondo Fedelation) style Taekwondo and quickly gained a fascination for unique styles of kicking. He quickly discovered his talent for kicking and was quickly achieved his WTF 1st dan at 19.

With his interest in unique martial arts style growing, he went to Brazil and joined the Associacao de Capoeira Mestre Bimba the home dojo of Capoeira located in Salvador in order to study from the best in traditional Capoeira.

Shortly after returning to Japan, Kambe worked with Universals Studios Japan as an entertainer. But by then he had been bitten by the curiosity bug and at 23 left for Australia to study English intensively for a year. During his time in Australia, he was invited into the Golden Kicks Taekwondo Academy in Melbourne as an instructor under master Mustafa Bozkurt.

When he returned to Japan, he moved to Tokyo in order to focus on projects ranging from Movies, Television, Commercials, to Stage, and others mediums.

His most recent accomplishment can be seen in a Karate movie "Kuro-Obi "(first screened in Montreal International Film Festival), motion capture work for the character BOB in Tekken 6 and Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 4.

Currently he is studying Karate with Naka Tatsuya, a 6th dan instructor and member of the Japan Karate Association and also the leading actor for Kuro-Obi.

He is also studying acting and directing at Ikedajuku and his next goal is to re ignite the passion and fire of action stunts in Japan.
